Mars in Aries & Pluto Retrograde!
Yesterday Venus nudged its way into earthy Taurus, (check out Jorge’s great post below), and today Mars jumps into fiery Aries, where it remains until June 9th! Plus, tomorrow is Bealtaine, (1st day of summer, in the Northern Hemisphere), and Pluto goes stationary retrograde!!
Although Mars is very happy in Aries as it's the ruler, it may not be the easiest to manage in relationships! On the plus side, passion can abound, and it can help us find the courage to be direct about our feelings. If you’ve been hesitating about asking someone out due to shyness, this is the perfect time to do it. It’s also a very playful and adventurous energy.
On the minus side, when acted upon unconsciously, this energy can be reactive, and at times aggressive in its pursuit of what it wants, regardless of the repercussions on others. Consciousness will be particularly important on May 4th, with the Mars/Pluto sextile.
Pluto going stationary Retrograde tomorrow, marks the start of this generational planet’s journey back into Capricorn for the last time. The retrograde lasts until Oct 11th, but will be in Aquarius until Sept. 2nd. when it will revisit deep changes that started to occur personally and collectively from Jan 21st 2024. Key themes in relationships include: fairness and equality, personal freedom, friendships, and finding our tribe!
On Sept. 2nd, Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn, for the last time in our lifetime, finally going direct on Oct 11th, at 29° Capricorn ’36. Between Sept. 2nd and November 19th, while Pluto is in Capricorn, we will be invited to let go of outdated structures that are impeding our progress. This includes toxic patterns in relationships.
Grounding, consciousness, self-awareness and self-nurturing are key throughout this time of transformational change! - not to mention, a good sense of humor!MG
