A day for love poems…
If you have ever wanted to write a love poem or song, this is the perfect day to do it with the exact Mercury/Neptune conjunction in Pisces. Even if you never send it, the act of writing it can nourish your heart. Listening to music or strolling around a beautiful art gallery is also ideal, or going for a walk with someone special, sharing your hopes and dreams together.
It’s also a perfect day for journaling, including images or photos if you can. This powerful Piscean energy fuels our intuition, so trying to figure out relationship issues with the logical mind is likely to feel frustrating right now. Meditation by water or with the sound of water in the background can soothe any sadness that may come to the surface to be released. Tears can also be helpful and laughter is a wonderful way to connect with cleansing tears. Creativity will also nurture the emotional needs of the Moon in Cancer today and we are unlikely to want to be in large or noisy crowds with strangers as these very sensitive energies thrive on gentleness.
You may also find your intuition heightened and it is a great day to connect with loved ones who may no longer be on this planet or who may be physically distant. Candles are always a lovely way to center the energy and help focus on who you would like to communicate with. It's also helpful to ground yourself first and to ask for support and protection from your guides/higher power (depending on what your beliefs are), before opening channels. Closing down when you are finished is also important.
Mostly, today is about day dreaming and visualizing what love and relationship look and feel like for each of us. What might a perfect day with our perfect partner/spouse, friends and family look and feel like? What about a perfect month and a perfect year and a perfect 10 years and a perfect rest of our life? What does ‘perfect’ mean to you? What does it feel like? Right now is the time to focus purely on the fantasy. The Mars/Mercury square next week can help us all to find some ways to bridge the gap between fantasy and reality. MG
