Imagine the sky is an orchestra, with each planet playing music that is flavored by the sign it’s in. Today and until mid-April, there are two predominant tunes playing which are somewhat in conflict with each other – the Aries and the Capricorn tune. The Aries tune is modified by Scorpio and the Capricorn one is affected by Pisces. Both are impacted by and in turn impact the Moon and hence our body and emotions.
In relationships this translates into an inner and outer conflict between our desire to let go of the old and initiate something that is brand new and innovative in our relationships, knowing that something has to be cracked open to do so. On the other hand, a part of us is aware that without commitment, duty and accountability, relationships cannot exist.
Jupiter in Scorpio keeps us on our toes by reminding us to focus on the absolute truth within us. Do we truly love the people we are surrounded with? Are the changes we want to make for our soul good, or out of ego based frustration and impatience?
Similarly Neptune in Pisces reminds us that the only real commitments are those that are based on unconditional love.
These tunes will continue to play with slight variations in the weeks ahead, giving us some time to allow them to percolate into our consciousness and find ways to integrate them in our relationships. (More on this tomorrow).
Today we are most likely to feel them on an emotional level, as the Moon in Cancer opposes Pluto and squares the Aries stellium. We may feel a reluctance to make any radical changes that involve losing people we love. Yet the trine to Jupiter may well remind us to double-check whether we are clinging onto real relationships, or the ghosts of long outdated ones which may prove much easier to let go of than we thought. Plus, in letting go, we make space for new relationships in our life. MG
