Later this evening EST and the early hours of tomorrow morning Irish time - Mars, one of the key relationship energies in the sky, moves into Cancer.
The spotlight in relationship for the next few weeks, moves from the more balanced equality of friendships, to the more traditional institution of ‘the family’. It’s a less cerebral approach to relationships than Gemini, so we are likely to do less talking and more hugging. Visiting loved ones in person is likely to be more appealing than connecting with them online, so don’t be surprised if social media goes a little quiet for a while!
By mid June this rose tinted glasses Norman Rockwell version of domestic bliss will be somewhat challenged, but until then we may as well enjoy all the comforting nurturing we can pack in with the people we care about - cosy times cooking with loved ones, listening to music, watching movies, taking selfies and holding hands…May 23rd may not be quite so cosy – but more on this next week!
Meanwhile, Venus has moved into earthy Taurus - ideally its most sensual placement, but with its encounter with Uranus on Saturday - all is not what it seems with Venus either! More on this in our Friday blog! MG
