The Sun in Taurus in Relationships!

The Sun ingresses into Taurus on Friday, the day of the Mercury-Venus conjunction – and of course Friday is named for Freya’s Day, the day of Venus. So Friday will be a particularly Venusian day – a good day to contact friends perhaps, socialise and appreciate loved ones.

Venus of course remains in Aries, the sign of its detriment, until the 29th – so she carries a certain spirit of competition and self-willed action right now. But Venus is highlighted and given prominence by its current conjunction with the North Node. So Venusian themes are strongly with us over the coming few days – and on the North Node, it brings the possibility of chance meetings and new relationships, brought about by our willingness to take a risk or act on our own initiative.

In the Venus cycle, we are coming close to this planet’s last day of visibility (28th April) before it disappears into the rays of the Sun as it heads towards Superior Conjunction on 4th June, at which point it begins its new cycle. So we can celebrate the power of Venus over the coming week and then await her return to visibility in mid-July.
